Any talk of political powerlessness is a myth– and a trap. Americans are flexing their political power, as we have done throughout history. More need to step up to form an even bigger, pro-democracy coalition that includes conservatives and independents ahead of the 2026 elections.

"The Communicator"

Overview

Strategic communications is the most valuable skill in today’s attention economy. And no matter how media and tech change, the fundamentals of public persuasion and message stickiness stay the same. An investment in public communications pays noticeable dividends over a short amount of time. With practice, it stays with you.

The Communicator” is a pack of flexible coaching sessions from 4 to 6 hours, depending on your goals. The purpose of the interactive briefing is to provide a reusable model to ace messaging and media work on the public stage. Learn the not-so-secret ingredients used by Zohran Mamdani, Donald Trump (as a candidate), Barack Obama, Stacey Abrams, and Pete Buttigieg in their public messaging.

Agenda

  • Introduction and Your Goals. Communications as a “hard skill” — a must-have, not a nice-to-have
  • Identify Best Practices and Top Communicators. Successful communicators—in politics, business, and national nonprofits-tend to have a shared recipe for success
  • Message Strategy. Some of the core element: North Star, audience, narrative, optics, and tone. Build a brand message and story using data, AI, and the zeitgeist. Respond to prickly political questions, opposition claims, and misinformation.
  • Refine Your Delivery. Media and tech are always changing, but the core story you deliver stays the same. The packaging, however, is different depending on the media platform. Practice mock news interviews and social media videos.
